Tutorial Enhance Your Forum’s Sidebar with the AE Welcome Card

Step 1: Import the Template​

1. Go to AdminCP → Appearance → Templates
2. Create a new template called:

   You must log in to view
   (1 lines)

3. Paste the contents of public_widget_aeWC.html

Step 2: Add Styling​

1. Go to your Style → Templates → extra.less
2. Paste the contents of extra_ae.less at the bottom

Step 3: Create the Widget​

1. Go to AdminCP → Appearance → Widgets → Add widget
2. Set:
   • Type: HTML
   • Widget key: ae_wc_widget
   • Title: AE Welcome Card
   • Positions: e.g. forum_list_sidebar (or any custom position)
3. In widget content, insert:

   You must log in to view
   (1 lines)
