- Custom display order — reorder picked nodes with up/down buttons; categories auto-include and group their child forums

- Default expansion option — start with all categories expanded or collapsed
- Permission-aware — automatically respects per-node and per-usergroup permissions; users only see what they're allowed to see
- "All forums" mode — leave the picker empty to display the full forum tree in natural order
